How to change Chamberlain garage door opener battery

To replace you garage door opener battery you will need only safety protection – gloves and eye protection, the replacement battery and a screw driver.

1. Unplug the Garage Door opener from the power.

2. Open the light lens of the garage door opener.

3. Remove the battery compartment cover.

4. Pull the battery out and disconnect the red and black wires from the battery.

5. Connect the red and black wire with the new Garage Door opener battery. Make sure that red wire is connected with the red terminal of the battery and black wire with the black terminal if the battery.
